The venue
Hardy Bay Hall went up in 1947 and has been hosting the north island ever since. Old growth fir floors, a stage at the south end, and windows on the harbour side that were built tall enough to matter.
It is the largest room on this list and one of the few that works in February. If you have a hundred and fifty people and a winter date, this is the answer.
