For venue owners
We photograph and plan weddings across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, and every couple we meet opens with the same question. Not budget, not date. Where. This is the list we answer it from, and there are two ways onto it.
For places that already know what they are doing. You have the calendar, the contract and the way you like to run a day. What you want is more of the right couples finding you.
About ten minutes. Give us your website and we build the first draft off it.
Get listedFor people sitting on somewhere beautiful who want to host weddings properly without spending a year building the systems to do it. You still run your venue. We hand you the machinery to run it in.
We only take on a handful, and we visit before we say yes. The form is long for that reason.
Apply to partnerWhy bother
Nobody arrives here by accident. They have filtered by island, by setting and by guest count before they ever see your name, so the enquiries that reach you are from people who wanted your kind of place.
Most venue listings are three phone snaps and a paragraph. Yours sits in a full gallery, credited to the photographer, alongside places like Ruckle Farm and the Providence.
Parking, curfew, rain plan, accessibility. Putting them on the page stops the six emails and the phone call that were always going to end in no.
Getting listed
That is the whole first step. We read it and pull the photographs, the words and whatever facts we can find.
We show you the draft and tell you what we could not find. A website almost never says how many cars fit or what time the music has to stop, and couples always want to know.
Everything we scraped arrives switched off. Turn on the ones that are actually of your place.
A person here looks over every listing before it publishes. Usually a day.
Becoming a partner
Capacity, power, parking, catering, what happens if it rains. Some of it goes on your page and some of it is only ever for us and the planners working your weddings. The form says which as you fill it.
We are about to put your place in front of couples we work with, and we will not do that for somewhere we have never been. Expect a visit, or at least a long phone call.
Up to three packages, usually an elopement, a small wedding and a full one. Your numbers. We will tell you what comparable places on the island are getting if it helps.
Your page goes live and your dashboard opens. From there you are running your own weddings, with the calendar, the threads and the payment schedules already built. Twenty percent of what books, taken from what the couple pays. Nothing up front, and nothing owed in a quiet year.
Either way
If you are not sure which fits, get listed. It costs nothing, it takes ten minutes, and moving up to a partnership later is easy.
