Listed Venue · Ucluelet
A spectacular West Coast resort for weddings, celebrations, and reception dinners. Ucluelet wedding packages. Perfect for an intimate 2 up to 120 people.
The venue
Black Rock Oceanfront Resort is a hotel wedding venue in Ucluelet, on the west coast of Vancouver Island. It sits on the ocean with forest around it, and it hosts ceremonies, celebrations and reception dinners for up to 75 seated guests.
The setting does most of the work here. Water on one side, trees on the other, and a building that holds both at once. Couples who want the coast to be part of the day, rather than a backdrop they drive to, tend to look at places like this one.
Seating tops out at 75, which puts it in reach of smaller guest lists and mid-sized ones. Table linens come in a choice of black or white, so the room can be dressed plainly or with more contrast, depending on what you bring to it.
The resort has studios, so guests travelling to Ucluelet can stay where the wedding is happening. That matters on this stretch of coast, where the drive in is long enough that people usually make a weekend of it.

We were fortunate enough to share a small family wedding at the Resort, we were in the Wine Cellar, spectacular location. The whole experience from booking, meal selection, and organization was incredibly smooth and we would highly recommend, it fit our needs perfectly, and the staff were amazing. Thank you!
This is our first time staying at Black Rock. I’m not overstating it when I say this is the most stunning location I’ve ever stayed in a hotel. Located in Ucluelet, it sits on the ocean - literally, our room is right above it during high tide. The rooms were designed to soak in the views and ocean sounds while…
